Job Description

Director of Engineering – Integrations

Tabz

• Own the end-to-end technical implementation of integrations with external systems (e.g., PMS providers, SMS platforms, pharmacy tech systems). • Serve as the technical liaison with external engineering teams - including pharmacy partners, switch providers, SMS vendors, and enterprise clients. • Own technical documentation for internal use and customer-facing engineering and implementation teams. • Assist with maintaining and scaling Snowflake database and support creation of dashboards and reports. • Design and optimize data architecture and infrastructure to support scalable, HIPAA compliant healthcare data workflows. • Ensure consistency and parity across integrations to maintain platform wide stability and performance. • Manage field usage and data storage across integrations in partnership with Product and Implementation teams. • Stay ahead of integration changes across PMS vendors and ensure HealNow remains fully compatible and interoperable. • Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve existing integrations to ensure reliability, uptime, and performance. • Translate complex integration logic into clear technical documentation for internal and external teams. • Partner closely with Product, Implementation, and Enterprise Client Engineering teams to align on requirements, timelines, and integration best practices. • Provide ongoing support and guidance to enterprise clients during integration rollout and post-launch phases. • Stay current on trends in pharmacy technology and integration architecture.

Job Requirements

  • Deep understanding of pharmacy data workflows and PMS integration architecture.
  • NYC or Remote US based.
  • 7+ years of engineering experience with at least 3 years leading integrations or API-based architecture.
  • Prior experience working with Pharmacy PMS’s or healthcare Saas required.
  • Proficiency with Snowflake, APIs, webhooks, ETL pipelines, and system-level integrations.
  • Experience working with or within Pharmacy systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of translating tech for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards and privacy/security.
  • Experience working in fast-paced; high-growth startups or scaling tech environments.
  • High accountability, bias for action, and ability to operate with autonomy and clarity.
  • Bonus: Experience working with high-growth SaaS products in the healthtech or pharmacy tech space.
