• Listen Labs has built an AI interviewer that can ask follow-up questions, like a conversation, but at the scale and ease of use of a survey. • Listen Labs clusters free-form conversation into a structured format. • We use embeddings, fine-tuned large language models, and more to solve these problems. • We're fine-tuning and prompting in novel ways to get the right output from LLMs. • We’ve built the fastest speech-to-speech pipeline but there’s a number of challenges we need to address to make it better.

• You’ll be working with the team to build out our mobile and web app, laying the foundations for a large-scale government and social impact product and influencing direction of our stack. • We’ve mastered our first product and system: child abuse data communication. As we expand, you will be rapidly building and testing new features like new communication methods, integrated database access, etc.; as well as new systems like domestic violence and gun violence frameworks. • We have spent a lot of time building a secure system. You'll be helping us scale towards stateRAMP and fedRAMP compliance. • You'll help in generating data-driven insights (ie. 50-pg reports to police chiefs) AND working on integrating with current gov. databases to securely integrate our product • You will be placed in a unique position to have capable Stanford SWE interns at your disposal to streamline your efficiency and productivity. Working with the CTO, you will have the ability to build leadership and managerial skills working with our interns. • You will work closely with our designers to think deeply about optimizing user experience and streamlining how our users will interact with the tech. • Bring your full creativity to solve any technical challenges along the way.

• Architect and own core systems that process millions of orders across APIs and LLM pipelines • Build queue-based microservices using Redis, Node.js, Typescript, Postgres, Docker/K8s, Vercel • Integrate vector databases + RAG pipelines to make customer profiles smarter, faster, and searchable in real time • Ship features end-to-end: APIs, dashboards, integrations (Shopify, Klaviyo, Slack, Zapier, Gorgias) • Keep us ahead on privacy & compliance • Work directly with Founding Team on roadmap, product direction, and hiring future engineers

• Build and ship key features across the stack with the founding team • Own complex systems such as multiplayer, asset pipelines, or execution flows • Architect clean, scalable abstractions that simplify complexity without limiting control • Improve performance, reliability, and developer experience • Help define the architecture for future AI-native UI/UX patterns • Collaborate tightly with design and product — we move quickly and iterate often
