CAD/Layout Designer

Alten México

• Crear 2D layouts anotados para cada opción de diseño, incluyendo estaciones, zonas de material, rutas de operadores y áreas de buffer. • Asegurar que los planos cumplan con estándares de anotación (ej. dimensiones, símbolos, leyendas) para facilitar su interpretación. • Participar en reuniones de revisión técnica, tomando notas claras sobre cambios solicitados y plazos de entrega. • Actualizar los diseños en CAD tras cada revisión, incorporando modificaciones de manera ágil y precisa. • Validar que los cambios no generen conflictos espaciales o ergonómicos con otras áreas del layout. • Compartir versiones actualizadas con el Layout Engineer y otros stakeholders para su aprobación. • Compilar el paquete final de layouts, asegurando que incluya: planos aprobados en formato digital (PDF/DWG), listas de materiales o equipos por estación (si aplica), anotaciones claras sobre requisitos de instalación o seguridad. • Revisar la documentación para eliminar inconsistencias o ambigüedades antes de su entrega. • Brindar aclaraciones técnicas a equipos de producción o montaje durante la implementación física de los layouts. • Documentar lecciones aprendidas en el proceso de diseño para mejorar futuros proyectos. • Proponer optimizaciones en los estándares de anotación o flujo de trabajo basado en la experiencia adquirida.

Job Requirements

  • Experiencia avanzada en diseño 2D con CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, o similar), con dominio de herramientas de anotación y capas.
  • Capacidad para producir layouts conceptuales limpios, claros y anotados, facilitando su interpretación por equipos multidisciplinarios.
  • Iteración rápida y eficiente de diseños, esencial para cumplir con plazos ajustados (ej. revisiones semanales).
  • Conocimiento sólido de elementos de líneas de manufactura: estaciones de trabajo, zonas de material, rutas de operadores y estándares de seguridad.
  • Experiencia en convertir marcados de ingeniería (engineering markups) en planos listos para presentación y construcción.
  • Inglés B2-C1.

Qualifications - Associates Degree (A.A.) in Drafting or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Experience may substitute for education. - Minimum 2 years related steel experience preferred, but not required. - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical procedures. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - PC skills to include the following software: AutoCAD, Revit, MS Word, Excel, GSuite & BlueBeam. Physical Demands - Regularly required to sit, occasionally stand and walk, use hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. - Regularly required to talk or hear. - Seldom lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. - Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
