Role Description The Intervention Specialist supports the educational and behavioral goals of all students with a focus on students with an Individualized Education Program. - Work cooperatively with classroom teachers, interpreting the abilities and disabilities of these students, assisting in classroom intervention strategies, modifying general education curricular as necessary, and assisting the student with regular class assignments - Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction - Conduct functional behavior assessments - Write and implement behavior improvement plans - Facilitate IEP Meetings and write IEP goals and objectives - Relentlessly work to meet all goals related to student achievement and culture as well as state specific achievement goals - Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and instruction - Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices into daily lessons and interactions with students, parents, and colleagues - Serve as advisor for a designated set of students - Communicate regularly with families regarding the academic and social-emotional growth of their child - Participate in the planning and implementation of non-instructional activities such as social events and field trips - Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications - Current Ohio Intervention Specialist License - Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards - Experience working in a full room inclusion type model or Co-Teaching in a Resource Room model - High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring - High quality written and verbal communication skills - High proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook - Excellent organization and time management skills - Ability to work independently and contribute to a team - Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI) - Experience working in a multi-cultural setting preferred Benefits - Compensation: The salary range for this position is $41,000-50,000. At Horizon Blue, we're focused on making sure BCBAs can show up for the kids and families who need them. Our BCBAs work with 8-10 families, with caseloads built around what each child actually needs rather than billing targets. We collaborate weekly, receive clinical mentorship, and help guide RBT placements. The goal is to create space for BCBAs to thoughtfully support each child's progress and be present when families need them. We're a remote team, which takes intention. But it also means our BCBAs have more time to focus on the clinical work that matters: adjusting programming as a child grows, supporting parents through challenges, and coaching the RBTs working with kids daily. We keep learning what works by listening to our team about what helps them serve families well. BCBA Qualifications & Requirements: - Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field - Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required - NY Licensed Behavior Analyst required - 1+ years of experience in ABA - Medicaid ID from New York State - Preference for Bilingual BCBAs in English & Spanish - Develop and oversee individualized ABA treatment plans. - Supervise RBTs and provide ongoing training and support. - Conduct assessments and adjust treatment goals as needed. - Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure client success. - Maintain compliance with ethical and regulatory standards. About the role: The Family Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for caring for children and adults with eating disorders via Equip’s 100% virtual Telehealth platform. Nurse Practitioners are essential members of Equip's 5-person virtual treatment team, working alongside a therapist, dietitian, peer mentor, and family mentor to help people recover from eating disorders. *Must be licensed in Oregon Responsibilities: - Manage a high volume patient case-load. - Provide comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions (psychiatric consultation available). - Implement medication treatment plans for eating disorders and co-occurring conditions in a virtual clinic (i.e. telehealth) setting. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, dietitians, therapists, patient mentors, and family mentors, along with outside providers. - Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team through Equip EMR in accordance with Equip’s policies and procedures. - Engage in treatment team meetings, supervision, and department meetings. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. - Ability to maintain active Family Nurse Practitioner licenses and pursue cross licensing as applicable (cost of licenses to be covered by Equip). - 3+ years of experience treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in an outpatient setting. - Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent evidence-based care, advancing clinical skills, and a passion for professional development. - Communicate effectively with patients and patient’s carers, and respond to messages within a timely manner. - Be curious, enjoy learning, and participate enthusiastically and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Schedule: - Monday - Friday. - Required to work two evenings at least till 6 pm during the week to accommodate patients. - Equip's Official Hours are from 8 am - 8 pm. Weekly Schedule: - Direct Patient Care: Up to 30 hours a week, includes new patient intakes and follow up sessions. - Meetings includes treatment team meeting, provider team meetings, on-going training and 1:1 support with a supervisor, approx. 4.5 hours. - Administration/Documentation (remainder of time in the week). - Required to do 12 hours of direct patient care after 2 pm in your time zone throughout the week. - Required to work two evenings of your choice at least till 6:00 pm. - No Weekends required.
