Role Description As a Principal Engineer - Enovia, you will oversee the strategic planning, deployment, configuration, and optimization of the Enovia 3DEXPERIENCE platform infrastructure. You will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of PLM environments across development, testing, and production systems. The Senior Engineer collaborates with IT, security, and application teams to lead system upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery planning, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to infrastructure strategy. You will report to the Manager, Information and Document Management Solutions. This is a remote position. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Enovia 3DEXPERIENCE environments across multiple tiers. - Build scalable and secure PLM infrastructure solutions. - Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure high reliability. - Manage system upgrades, patches, and hotfixes with application teams. - Develop backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. - Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and lead security audits for PLM systems. - Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting and configuration management tools. - Troubleshoot complex infrastructure-related issues and provide root cause analysis. - Document system architectures, configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to infrastructure planning and continuous improvement.
