• Write clean, maintainable, testable and well-documented code • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other team members to ensure high code quality • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner • Pick up new technology and switch between tech stacks with a minimum of fuss • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies

• There are performance challenges both at UI and on backend side, so you’ll take responsibility for improving UI and workflows for internal users such as traders and quants. • Contribute to the development of internal tooling and new projects spanning frontend and backend technologies. • Build apps that automatize certain workflows or processes (such as automatic fund transfers). • Design and implement user-friendly applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js. • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions. • Tackle complex challenges such as real-time trading platforms with autonomy and creativity.

• Innovate, design, develop and deliver features into the Sophos AI automated systems area, focusing on ML systems taking it to an industry leading next generation position. • Identify key metrics, put measurement in place and work on to meet them. Do this using the Agile Software development framework of SCRUM. • Implement CI/CD, operational metrics and monitoring for Sophos AI systems and support them.
