Location: Remote, Work-from-home Tutoring Responsibilities: - Teach one-to-one private lessons to students both online and offline - Teach small group settings (up to 5 students) both online and offline - Participate in our education centre meetups and workshops - Maintain tutor profile and regularly add content - Collaborate and interact within our online community - Regularly update tutoring schedule - Stay updated with the latest pedagogical styles and academic syllabus - Identifying specific needs of each student Qualifications - Responsible, committed with a strong passion for teaching - Able to communicate in English and mother tongue - Familiar with local academic syllabus - Great content knowledge and expertise - Able to work well with students from different backgrounds - Able to maintain discipline amongst students - Able to effectively explain academic concepts - Good written and verbal communication skills - Excellent time management skills - Experience in tutoring remotely/online (optional) - Access to a fast and reliable internet connection - Have access to a personal laptop with a webcamera Requirements Note: Applicants may be invited to go through a round of online interview before being shortlisted. Position Summary The MTSS Math Interventionist provides targeted, data-driven math instruction and intervention to students identified through the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). This role collaborates closely with the MTSS team and mentors to design, implement, and monitor math interventions that address individual student needs. The Math Interventionist supports student growth in core mathematical skills while promoting confidence, engagement, and academic success. Essential Duties (Top 5 Roles) 1) Role 1: Deliver targeted math interventions aligned to MTSS tiers - Provide small-group and individualized math intervention for students receiving Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports - Implement evidence-based instructional strategies in math, including middle school pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, algebra II, and precalculus as appropriate - Differentiate instruction based on student data, learning goals, and identified skill gaps - Monitor student understanding and adjust instruction to maximize progress 2) Role 2: Collaborate with the Williamsburg Academy of Colorado MTSS team and Williamsburg Learning math team - Communicate regularly with the MTSS team regarding student progress, challenges, and intervention effectiveness - Participate in MTSS meetings and contribute data-based insights and recommendations - Coordinate with math mentors to align interventions with core instruction and curricular goals - Attend weekly Math team L10 coordination meetings 3) Role 3: Track, document, and analyze student progress - Maintain accurate records of intervention sessions, attendance, and student performance - Collect and analyze data to monitor growth and inform instructional decisions - Prepare progress notes and reports for MTSS documentation and team review - Assist with authorizer site review evidence collection 4) Role 4: Provide math support in the drop-in tutoring lab - Attend scheduled tutoring lab hours to provide supplemental math support to students - Assist students with classwork, assignments, and skill reinforcement aligned to MTSS goals - Collaborate with tutors and MTSS team members to ensure consistency of instructional strategies and supports - Observe and note patterns in student needs to inform intervention planning and progress monitoring 5) Role 5: Foster a positive, supportive learning environment - Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment in small-group or individual settings - Actively encourage, motivate, and engage students to build confidence and perseverance in math - Support positive student behavior and promote effective problem-solving and study strategies Non-Essential Duties Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of the activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. • Systematically research, map, identify and explore eligibility requirements for relevant funding opportunities within the therapeutic areas of interest and which align with Alimentiv’s strategic mission and capabilities • Work with the Chief Medical Officer, VP Medical R&D, and other members of senior leadership to identify the most appropriate funding opportunities to pursue • Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership regarding funding opportunities • Represent Alimentiv at funding agency information sessions and meetings as required • Draft polished and professional grant proposals tailored to the requirements of each funding opportunity • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure the timely completion of all components of grant application packages, including budgets • Manage document review rounds with stakeholders and prepare revised drafts of the proposal based on feedback received • Manage timelines and the grant submission process • Monitor submitted proposals and respond to funding agency queries as required • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of proposal content • Contribute to our culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion by factoring these elements into our research proposals where feasible • Identify Alimentiv work that is eligible for Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax incentives and work with Finance and other teams to prepare an annual claim • Support the Medical R&D team in relationship management with funding agencies and act as a point of contact as assigned • Ensure commonly requested supporting documentation for grants is maintained (e.g., CVs) • Develop a calendar of application and reporting deadlines for all grantsWork collaboratively with the project operations team, the grant owners and Alimentiv’s legal team to support the execution of contractual agreements with funding agencies • Submit grant proposals and status reports, ensuring multiple overlapping deadlines are met • Collaborate with the operational team to track budgets and verify the eligibility of expenses • Draft status reports for funders in accordance with grant requirements • Support the medical writing team with the development of documents including but not limited to abstracts, posters, and slide decks, and with the editing or quality control (QC) review of regulatory documents or publications as time permits • Other tasks as required
