Role Description The Data Analyst supports Justice software implementation projects and may also assist teams across Neumo's other product lines as needed. This role is responsible for analyzing, converting, validating, and loading complex data sets to ensure accurate and reliable outcomes for new and existing customers. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who thrives in data-intensive environments, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and proactively identifies long‑term solutions to data issues. - Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources. - Perform detailed analysis using statistical methods to uncover trends, patterns, and root causes. - Modify, convert, and load data using SQL, Excel, and internal tooling. - Create clear dashboards and reports to communicate insights. - Troubleshoot data issues and assess downstream impacts to product workflows. - Write Jira tickets documenting defects or required development work to permanently resolve data problems. - Collaborate with implementation, support, and account management teams to resolve customer data issues. - Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes and data integrity. - Communicate with customers clearly and be customer facing as needed. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Strong proficiency in SQL and ability to understand relational table structures. - Advanced Excel skills, including macros. - Experience with data validation, cleansing, and maintaining data integrity. - Customer‑facing experience and ability to navigate challenging situations. Requirements - Excellent attention to detail and clear written/verbal communication. - Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously—especially in remote environments. - Nice to have: Java, T‑SQL, MySQL, PowerShell or similar scripting, knowledge of court/case management systems. Work Environment - Office setting with a moderate noise level. - The employee will work at an individual workstation, using a telephone and computer. Physical Demands - Must be able to remain seated for extended periods. - Regular use of a computer and other office machinery, such as printers and copy machines. - Occasional movement around the office. - Frequent communication via telephone.
