Senior Services Engagement Manager

Cloudera

• Engage closely with our sales teams (Account Managers and Solutions Engineers) to develop strong customer relationships and grow the Cloudera Professional Services business • Define, scope and sell our professional services portfolio • Prepare Statements of Work or Change Orders for review by Cloudera legal and deal desk • Work with our Project Management Office (PMO) to provide oversight for the services engagement with our customers, acting as the primary point of escalation and ensuring that our Customers are experiencing high quality delivery • Occasionally manage services engagements directly • Input into the planning and forecasting of our resourcing profile • Working directly with Customer to ensure alignment of Cloudera tasks/activities • Work as a conduit between the Customer and other parts of Cloudera including Support and Engineering

Job Requirements

  • Excellent experience in leading scoping, selling and delivering large scale, data driven projects
  • Excellent customer relationship management experience including managing escalations, and participating in executive steering meetings
  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of software implementation and project/program management methodologies
  • Experience in successfully managing project or engagement delivery, preferably within an enterprise software company or SaaS company
  • Self-starter mentality and collaborative problem solver
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

The Sr. Mobile Device Lifecycle Manager's responsibilities include: - Managing the full device lifecycle from acquisition, configuration, and deployment through maintenance, retirement, and secure disposal. - Working closely with vendors to manage device procurement, warranty repairs, and end-of-life refresh cycles. - Developing a multi-year device lifecycle roadmap by: - Forecasting needs for Windows tablets, Android phones/tablets, iOS devices, or other devices - Planning and managing clinical trial device refresh cycles (24-36 months) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). - Developing and maintaining lifecycle management standards, documentation, SOPs, and validated processes for internal documentation and regulatory audits and inspections. - Defining policies for usage tracking, repairs, warranty claims, and secure disposal (data sanitization, recycling). - Aligning device strategies with Compliance requirements. - Maintaining accurate asset tracking and inventory records, supporting audit readiness and lifecycle reporting in collaboration with other internal teams. - Analyzing device data to drive optimizations, cost savings, and scalability across trial portfolios. - Partnering with internal teams cross-departmentally to align device management with study timelines and requirements, data integrity needs, and regulatory requirements. - Leading a team or cross-functional task force, providing guidance and prioritization on daily operations and long-term improvements. - Recommending upgrades, replacements, and automation opportunities to improve scale, performance, and cost control.
