Role Description Senior Development Associate is a highly experienced fundraising professional who is knowledgeable about human services systems and grant proposals to fund services from potential funding sources. This position is a key role within the Advancement and Development team. They will collaborate closely with senior leadership, development staff, and external partners to ensure successful fundraising outcomes. - Familiarity with child welfare, juvenile justice, and mental/behavioral health systems is a plus. - Will be assigned to lead and manage funding proposals, including responding to complex federal, state, and local RFPs. - Writing proactive proposals for potential funders and writing position papers. - A successful history of competitively crafting and writing proposals in all funding fields to score points is required. - History of success with foundation applications is a plus.
