In this exciting opportunity as an Associate Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in providing technical and operating room support to customers, including training healthcare professionals on our devices and therapies. You will also deliver advanced clinical and technical support to sales representatives. For this remote position you will be based in Barcelona, with extensive travel across Spain required. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: - Participate in presentations, conferences, and meetings to support Sales colleagues in giving doctors all the necessary information about our products while building solid relationships - Participate in the training and technical updating of physicians, hospital personnel, and all others involved in the use of Medtronic products - Give support in post marketing activities - Build strong relationships with Sales colleagues in order to bring a common, clear and complete message to the doctor - Provide immediate technical/specialist support whenever the doctor requests it, taking care to share all the clinical data necessary to demonstrate the efficacy of the product - Lead and manage critical issues on our products by discussing, as necessary, with colleagues in the office Required Knowledge and Experience: - Degree in biomedical engineering, scientific or another relevant degree - At least a first experience in a similar role within the medical device industry - Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) - Computer literacy and Sales Force competencies - Teamwork, proactivity and focus on delivering results, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision - Problem solving mindset, ability to tackle the problem from multiple points of view, helping the doctor to find the best solutions to technical problem - Communication skills and motivation to build strong business relationship with customers. - Full clean driver license and willingness to travel extensively within the country Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
