Clinical Solution Advisor Company: Emerging Tech Program: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) – Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO) About Emerging Tech Emerging Tech is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business supporting federal healthcare modernization initiatives. We partner with the VA on large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) transformation programs that improve care delivery for Veterans nationwide. Position Overview Emerging Tech is seeking a Clinical Solution Advisor to support the VA EHRM-IO program. This is a hands-on Oracle Health (Cerner) configuration role supporting clinical solution activities across national leadership, VISNs, and local VA sites. This role requires direct experience configuring Oracle Health solutions using DCPTools, CoreEventManager, and Bedrock. Candidates without this experience will not be considered. Key Responsibilities - Configure and manage clinical solutions using DCPTools, CoreEventManager, and Bedrock - Apply Oracle Health model recommendations in configuration and issue resolution - Translate solution capabilities into functional workflows for VA stakeholders - Design and develop enhancements in a healthcare/clinical environment - Conduct workflow analysis and support future-state design - Identify solution risks, gaps, and integration issues - Manage and resolve tickets and change requests in ServiceNow - Support functional validation and end-user testing for EHR and integrated systems - Assist with testing events and go-live activities - Coordinate with EHRM-IO teams, Oracle Health, VA leadership, and site stakeholders - Monitor deliverables, taskers, and solution-related projects to ensure deadlines are met Required Qualifications - 5+ years of professional experience - Experience independently designing and developing software products or major enhancements in a healthcare or clinical environment - Experience serving as a technical expert in systems integration and healthcare informatics - Hands-on experience with DCPTools, CoreEventManager, and Bedrock - Experience using ServiceNow for ticket and change management - Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field - 10 additional years of relevant experience may substitute for degree Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs - Experience supporting federal EHR modernization programs - Experience implementing or supporting Electronic Health Records - Experience working in large, complex federal healthcare environments - Experience supporting ambulatory workflows or capacity management tools Benefits - Competitive compensation - Retirement Plan - Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance - Paid Time Off - Referral Bonus - Performance/Retention Bonus Opportunities
