Job Description
Software Developer – Integrations
Synera
• At Synera, we build an agentic automation platform for engineers that helps them create better products faster. • Our software connects engineering tools, data, and people, enabling teams to automate complex workflows and focus on what really matters: solving engineering problems. • We're looking for an Integration Developer who truly understands engineering. • This role sits at the intersection of partner communication and software development. • You will own the development of add-ins and integrations within our automation platform. • You'll be the first dedicated member of our new Marketplace team, working closely with Andrew, who leads the marketplace vision, and collaborating with one of our R&D development teams. • You'll work with a wide range of technologies, from CAD tools to simulation solvers to PLM systems and AI tools. • You join the weekly all-hands to align on company updates, followed by the developer meeting to share progress, questions, and technical insights. • After the morning stand-up, you dive into customer calls to understand their integration requirements. • You do backlog refinement and team retrospective to clarify tasks, estimate effort, and improve workflow. • Sprint review day - you demo the past two weeks' work to internal stakeholders and align on feedback. • You join a customer call to explain add-ins and public API usage. The rest of the week’s time is protected focus time: writing code, reviewing Bitbucket pull requests and pushing real value to production.
Job Requirements
- You resonate with Synera's Core Values - they're central to how we work, and we'll explore them together in your first interview.
- You have a deep understanding of developing add-ins, plugins or integrations for complex software systems.
- You managed several integration projects with external customers and managed stakeholders as a Software Engineer being a member of a SCRUM team.
- You bring hands-on experience with PLM systems, or CRM platforms. If PLM isn't your strength, solid experience with CAD or FEA tools is a great alternative.
- You bring strong proficiency in C# and C++, with solid algorithmic and logical thinking skills.
- You're comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy – communicating directly with partners, making technical decisions, and owning projects from start to finish.
- You are a strong communicator in English with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Benefits
- Flexible working: you decide when & where to work (as long as you have a residency in Germany).
- Flexible public holidays: swap days off according to your values and beliefs!
- Home office setup support + access to our office in Bremen.
- Personal development budget of €2,000 to attend conferences and trainings or buy interesting books to improve in an area of your choice.
- We don't count your vacation days, as we trust all our team members to decide what's best for them and the company.
- Prefer two wheels over four? 🚲 We’ve got you covered with JobRad.
- To support your personal and professional well-being, we offer company fitness with Wellpass and mental health platform nilo.
- Regular team events, virtual coffee breaks, and spontaneous afterworks.
- We also get together as a whole company for 2-3 day off-sites twice a year!
