Job Description

AI Automation Engineer

Pyyne

• Run structured discovery sessions with clients to map current workflows, pain points, and manual bottlenecks • Identify realistic AI automation opportunities — and just as importantly, tell clients when AI isn't the right tool • Build business cases for automation initiatives: time saved, error reduction, cost impact • Prioritize a roadmap of opportunities based on feasibility, ROI, and client readiness • Maintain trust with clients by setting honest expectations and delivering on them • Translate discovery findings into working automations using tools like n8n, Zapier, Make, LangChain, or custom Python pipelines • Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.) into internal tools, data pipelines, and business processes • Write clean, maintainable code — Python primarily, with some JS/TS as needed • Monitor, maintain, and iterate on automations post-launch

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of overall engineering experience, with at least 1–2 years working with AI/LLM tools in production
  • 3+ years of experience working with APIs, webhooks, and data transformation
  • 2+ years of experience with Python as a primary language
  • 2+ years of experience with workflow automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make, etc.)
  • Comfort working with JavaScript and/or TypeScript as needed
  • Proven ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders — you can run a discovery session, not just a standup
  • Ability to scope your own work — you can walk out of a client meeting and know what to build next.

Benefits

  • Flexible remote working environment.
  • Career development opportunities in a fast-growing company.
