• Execute routine maintenance tasks, including patching, minor upgrades, and following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for server builds and decommissioning. • Serve as the initial point of contact for Level 1-2 incidents within the ticketing system. • Troubleshoot user access, basic file permissions, and resolve simple system failures, escalating complex issues efficiently. • Utilize basic Bash or Python scripting skills to read, test, and execute existing automation scripts designed to improve daily workflows. • Apply your understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS lookups) to assist with server connectivity troubleshooting. • Maintain accurate system records and assist senior engineers in updating technical documentation and service data sheets.

• Provide expert, hands-on administration for production servers (RHEL/Ubuntu), focusing on Kernel tuning, deep boot processes, and performance optimization to ensure maximum uptime. • Design, code, and test robust Bash or Python scripts from scratch to automate routine operational tasks, significantly reducing manual intervention and improving service consistency. • Lead the technical investigation for operational failures, driving the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process and implementing verifiable, long-term fixes. • Take ownership of complex administration tasks related to DNS (Authoritative/Recursive), Routing, and enterprise Mail services (Postfix, Dovecot). • Actively participate in peer-reviewing changes (Change Enablement) and provide technical guidance and training to Associate Engineers.

• Lead the design and implementation of new Linux solutions and service architectures (on-premise and cloud/IaaS), providing critical input into CAPEX planning and technology roadmaps. • Define the security hardening standards and best practices for the entire platform. • Own the risk register, manage vendor relationships, and lead research and development for new products. • Lead and execute major platform initiatives, such as OS end-of-life migrations, security vulnerability remediation, and the integration of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles across the environment. • Serve as the top-tier technical liaison, influencing decisions with customers and senior internal stakeholders and presenting complex technical options clearly. • Drive the strategy for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines as they relate to Linux provisioning and configuration management.

• Define and drive the technical strategy for validation of new software, hardware and platform configurations, strategically managing and optimizing infrastructure utilization. • Architect and implement production-ready automation frameworks and testing pipelines, ensuring they are highly scalable, maintainable, and adhere to industry best practices and software standards. • Collaborate with engineering, data science, release and infrastructure to monitor and enforce robust criteria and streamline technical processes and tools for measuring and gating releases. • Design, develop, and maintain software infrastructure and tooling for operations focussed engineering systems • Develop, own, and maintain comprehensive dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools to provide clear, actionable insights into software performance and quality across the platform • Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem solving.
