• Responsible for technical supplier oversight regarding manufacturing and manufacturing development projects for mechanical handling systems for the NuScale Power Module. • Provide consultation to NuScale design organizations regarding manufacturing. • Specify and collect product manufacturing requirements including all standards and specifications. • Act as a primary point of contact between NuScale design organizations and manufacturing suppliers for technical information and communications. • Apply industry expertise, codes and standards, and regulatory guidance in the general area of manufacturing and supply chain development. • Lead cross-functional engagement with NuScale design organizations to interpret their needs and requirements to manufacturing entities. • Proactively contributes to the NuScale design organizations by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials. • Perform subcontract technical lead duties by preparing requirements documents and schedules, coordinating and monitoring the technical aspects of assigned manufacturing and manufacturing development projects. • Review manufacturing documentation of supplier to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, standards, and QA/QC requirements. • Develop, check, or review internal drawings, studies, and specifications Revive engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions. • Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with procedures, applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications. • Manage supplier manufacturing mockup planning and test results to ensure desired outcomes are achieved. • Performing surveys of new manufacturing suppliers to assess capabilities and documenting survey results. • Perform/coordinate grading of technical proposals and working with Procurement team for supplier selection. • Assist Product Cost Management team by leading equipment cost estimates and value engineering studies. • Develop and maintain detailed, accurate manufacturing schedules and logic which include interfaces to cross-functional organizations such as design and construction/start-up organizations. • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing manufacturing information and trends including statistical analysis of manufacturing trends. • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. • Performs other duties as assigned.

• Leads the development of resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity and innovation • Provides and utilizes system engineering input in developing reactor servicing tools, inspection equipment, and control systems • Prepares, checks, and reviews engineering reports, system descriptions and specifications, drawings, calculations, and other design documents with particular emphasis on reactor servicing tooling and inspection systems, machine and component design • Works collaboratively with the Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) Component design organization to ensure adequate features are provided to interface with NuScale’s reactor servicing tools • Works closely with Systems Engineering and Operations group to develop work sequences and handling plans • Performs innovative and complex engineering assignments on a team dedicated to developing an engineered product • Supports and manages procurement of activities related to equipment design, fabrication and testing activities • Acts as the subject matter expert (SME) in utilizing proven technical approaches and engineering standards to solve problems • Mentors and trains other engineers in sound approaches and standards for solving problems in technical areas of expertise

• Helps to develop resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity and innovation. • Utilizes engineering input from across the NuScale organization in the development of reactor servicing tools, inspection equipment, and control systems. • Prepares, checks, and reviews engineering reports, system descriptions and specifications, drawings, calculations, and other design documents with particular emphasis on reactor servicing tooling and inspection systems, machine and component design. • Works on complex tasks in multiple and diverse areas. • Work collaboratively with the Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) Component design organization to ensure adequate features are provided to interface with NuScale’s reactor servicing tools to ensure that functional and performance requirements are met. • Works collaboratively with the Civil/Structural team to ensure interfaces between tooling systems and the buildings on site meet the applicable functional and performance requirements. • Works closely with Systems Engineering and the Operations group to develop work sequences and handling plans as part of an integrated tool design scheme. • Helps to develop and maintain engineering standards and criteria. • Assists in the planning and organization of complex engineering work. • Performs innovative and complex engineering assignments on a team dedicated to the development of an engineered product; interprets scope and requirements of projects; develops alternative methods to achieve project goals. • Supports procurement of activities related to equipment design, fabrication and testing activities. • Assists other teams by utilizing sound technical approaches and engineering standards to solve problems in technical areas of expertise. • Self-manages workload and deadlines. • Performs other duties as assigned.
