• Driving the technical direction of the iOS platform, ensuring long-term scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability. • Designing and delivering high-impact iOS features and systems, balancing short-term product needs with long-term platform health. • Leading cross-functional initiatives with product, design, data, backend, and Android teams. • Driving engineering best practices across the iOS team, including code quality, testing, and development processes. • Mentoring iOS engineers and contributing to technical leadership and knowledge sharing. • Assessing the technical, user, and business impact of the features you ship, using data and user feedback to inform decisions. • Continuously improving the iOS tech stack and tooling (Swift, SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency). • Working alongside AI-powered tools to amplify productivity and creativity.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of professional iOS development experience, including ownership of large-scale, consumer-facing apps.
- Previous experience as a Staff iOS Engineer (or equivalent), with demonstrated impact beyond feature delivery.
- Strong product sensitivity, combined with deep technical expertise applied at the platform level (outside of pure feature work).
- Proven experience improving the iOS app globally, including architecture, performance, tooling, and development processes.
- Ability to identify, investigate, and drive solutions to complex technical problems affecting multiple teams.
- Strong track record of mentoring engineers, leading peer programming, and enabling teams to adopt better technical practices.
- Excellent knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI, with real-world experience shipping and maintaining production systems.
- Solid understanding of iOS architecture and system design.
- Data-informed mindset, comfortable using analytics and feedback to guide technical and product decisions.
- Highly autonomous, proactive, and impact-driven.
