Staff Backend Engineer
Anagram Ltd
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js (TypeScript), MySQL/Drizzle, Axiom, and Sentry to support the evolving needs of Glider’s platform. • Help structure and optimize Glider’s data models while contributing to liquidity analysis, PNL optimization, and performance monitoring. • Implement and maintain time-series-based monitoring systems to track and analyze trading strategies, performance, and liquidity. • Work closely with python-based solvers and verifier networks to enhance strategy execution and ensure safe, efficient rebalancing of portfolios. • Solve complex technical challenges in a fast-paced, innovative environment while continuously pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in DeFi.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering with a strong understanding of data systems, crypto trading, and performance monitoring.
- Strong expertise in Node.js (TypeScript), MySQL, Python
- Experience with time-series-based monitoring, liquidity analysis, and PNL optimization
- Familiarity with Verifier Networks like Eigenlayer
- Proficient in data modeling within the trading domain (ie schemas for Glider’s block strategies)
- Proven ability to design and implement novel solutions in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
- A strong believer in data-based decision-making, with the ability to structure and analyze complex data models.
- A deep interest in the cryptocurrency and decentralized finance ecosystem, with a desire to explore and expand what is possible on-chain.

• Develop and maintain Drivers for CrateDB (JDBC, Python/SQLAlchemy, etc.) • Connections to external tools (Grafana, Tableau, Airflow, etc.) • Internal administrative tools (crash CLI, Admin UI) • Improve PostgreSQL-compatibility of CrateDB and its ecosystem • Migration tools from/to other databases systems and storage formats • Write and maintain technical documentation like reference architectures, integration examples, etc. • Work and interact with your Open Source community and technical partners on joint projects • Support our Product Managers with technical requirements
