This role is perfect for someone who excels in "cloudy" situations and can provide technical clarity to non-technical leadership. You will be responsible for overseeing our IT infrastructure, streamlining operations, and helping define the long-term organizational design of our technical team. What You'll Do: - Bridge the Technical Gap: Act as the primary technical advisor to leadership, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies. - Operational Oversight: Take full visibility of firm-wide IT operations, ensuring stability and scalability as we grow. - Organizational Design: Collaborate with the executive team to define the future structure of the IT department and identify talent gaps. - Strategic Execution: Manage the transition of technical roles and systems during a phase of rapid organizational change. - Communication: Maintain high levels of transparency and "over-communicate" across departments to ensure technical goals align with business growth. - Technical Domain Expertise: provide advice and lead initiatives on security standards, Microsoft infrastructure, IT support operations and development processes based on the organization’s future needs. What We're Looking For: - Technical Affinity: Deep familiarity with IT infrastructure, technical concepts, and modern operational workflows. - Adaptability: Proven ability to navigate "unknowns" and build processes from scratch in a fast-paced, changing environment. - Stakeholder Management: Experience working directly with non-technical executives to assess and implement technical solutions. - Strategic Thinking: Ability to move beyond day-to-day tasks to assist in long-term org design and resource planning. - Transparency-First Mindset: A strong believer in documentation and keeping the team aligned through clear, frequent communication.
