Staff Frontend Engineer
Assured
• Own major areas of the frontend codebase, leading architecture decisions and ensuring performance, reliability, and consistency across the product. • Design and implement new UI elements and workflows, taking ideas from rough concepts to refined, production-ready interfaces. • Write, test, and ship high-quality code, driving new product features end-to-end. • Raise the bar for UX and design quality across the platform, setting the standard for speed, consistency, and visual polish. • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and backend teams to deliver cohesive, user-centered experiences. • Advocate for the customer, incorporating feedback and usage insights into product decisions. • Lead and mentor engineers, sharing knowledge and helping shape our growing engineering culture.
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience building and scaling complex modern web applications
- Deep understanding of frontend technologies, and the craft of shipping production-ready software quickly and with quality
- Strong design sensibility, you care deeply about end-user experience, accessibility, and visual precision
- System thinking, you know how to architect reusable UI systems, design libraries, and maintain consistency at scale
- Not required: Specific framework or stack experience. We’re technology-agnostic and value adaptability over tools.
- Our current stack includes: React (TypeScript), Node.js, Vercel, PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS.
