• Write Cypress tests for visual regression testing. • Write automated scripts allowing the deployment of updated code into production environments multiple times per day. • Create automated tests that verify all user-facing functionality. • Create unit and integration tests to verify modules and components. • Run tests automatically as part of the build process. • Collaborate with other governance teams. • Conduct load and performance tests at regular intervals, including before public launch. • Assist with user acceptance testing. • Design and create testing plans including unit, kernel, functional, behavioral, regression, and integration testing.

• Understand how features work and identify how they might fail. • Review requirements and user stories to identify gaps, edge cases, and risk areas. • Design and execute functional, integration, performance, and reliability tests. • Build and maintain automated tests for APIs, services, and user workflows. • Work closely with developers to reproduce issues, diagnose problems, and verify fixes. • Help the team ship quickly without sacrificing product quality. • Improve test automation, testing approaches, and development workflows. • Maintain test environments used by engineering and QA. • Use modern development tools, including AI assisted tools, to increase testing coverage and efficiency. • Review AI generated code or tests to ensure they are correct and actually test meaningful scenarios.

• Responsible for automating and maintaining integration tests, API tests, Azure Event Hub tests, file data validation tests and UI tests • Schedule nightly runs of automated tests and report results • Provide technical and operational support for test automation and software testing efforts

• Shape and lead automation strategy: Define and implement scalable automation practices aligned with the overall test strategy for an android application • Build and maintain test automation: Develop and maintain automated tests targeting backend logic, APIs, and database interactions, with a focus on data consistency and early defect identification. • Optimize frameworks and execution: Enhance automation frameworks for performance and manage Selenium Grid and parallel execution for faster test cycles. • Integrate with CI/CD: Embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality and faster feedback loops. • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with QA, developers, product teams, and stakeholders to resolve defects and align testing with business goals. • Mentor and support: Guide junior and mid-level QA engineers, participate in code reviews, and share best practices to promote learning and consistency. • Report and improve: Generate test metrics, analyze results, and contribute to ongoing improvements in quality processes and tools.
