You will leverage your deep industry expertise to secure high-value partnerships with global games publishers, articulating Keywords Studios’ unique ability to find, attract, and engage players through data-driven insights and creative marketing excellence. Key Responsibilities - Core Revenue Driver: Identify, prospect, and close high-value opportunities specifically targeting major global game publishers and developers. - Service Articulation: Expertly sell the full suite of Engage Marketing Services, tailored for the gaming lifecycle: - Strategy & Insight: Utilizing Keywords Insights for player-persona mapping and market analysis. - Social & Influencer Marketing: Building community-centric social strategies and executing global influencer campaigns for AAA and Indie titles alike. - PR & Outreach: Securing high-impact media coverage and managing reputation within the gaming community. - Creative Production: Partnering with publishers to deliver trailers, key art, and high-impact digital assets. - Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a sales roadmap that prioritizes high-growth accounts within the gaming sector to exceed annual revenue targets. - Relationship Management: Build and nurture executive-level relationships within the marketing and publishing departments of the world’s leading games companies. - Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with our global creative and production studios to pitch integrated, world-class marketing solutions that meet complex client needs. - Industry Representation: Serve as a brand ambassador at major gaming events, including GDC, Summer Game Fest, PAX, and Gamescom.

Job Requirements

  • Industry Expertise: Extensive experience working directly for or with global games publishers. You must possess an "insider’s" understanding of how games are marketed and sold.
  • Sales Track Record: 5+ years of proven success in a Business Development role, specifically within the video games or gaming-adjacent marketing space.
  • Market Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of the global gaming ecosystem, including platform trends, player behavior, and the social/influencer landscape.
  • High-Level Network: An active, "warm" network of contacts within the North American gaming industry (Publishers, Developers, and Agencies).
  • Communication: Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills; able to translate marketing services into a compelling ROI-driven narrative for game leads.
  • Autonomy: A self-starter with the discipline to drive sales cycles independently while reporting into a global leadership structure.

Benefits

  • The base salary for this role is from CAD$95,000 to CAD$120,000 per year, depending on your experience.
