Qualifications - Du hast eine abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung als Elektrotechniker, Mechatroniker, oder vergleichbare Ausbildung. - Du hast elektrische Kenntnisse und einen PKW-Führerschein. - Du hast eine hohe Computeraffinität und idealerweise Erfahrung mit Robotik oder Programmierung. Role Description The role holder will be required to safely carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance works and produce the necessary reports that meet the current requirements of external accrediting bodies. - Perform servicing of fire pumps systems in line with specified scope of works, ensuring servicing is completed fully and to a high standard of quality. - Provide detailed and accurate servicing reports, providing an assessment of any remedial requirements to ensure the integrity of the fire systems for our clients. - Perform any repair work as required to fire pumps systems, in line with the scope of works set out and agreed with the client. - Travel outside of area where needed, to service our client needs. - Perform monthly stock checks on your van, to provide timely stock sheets to our Stores. - Perform monthly PPE and Vehicle checks, to provide timely forms to our safety team. - Attend out of hours call outs as and when needed. - Act with integrity and professionalism in all communications with clients and colleagues. - Keep abreast of changes and amendments of standards, regulations, and best practice within the industry. - Use and maintain your vehicles and tools in line with company policy. - Always adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures. Qualifications - Qualification in either mechanical or electrical engineering - Comfortable working with handheld, electronic devices to record information - Competence in using standard office packages such as Microsoft Outlook (email), Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Strong organisation skills. - Clean criminal record due to working in highly secure areas. • Conduct field installations, upgrades, and commissioning of VSAT systems (C/Ku/Ka-band), Starlink, and L-band terminals (e.g., FleetBroadband, Iridium Certus) • Perform IT systems integration including onboard LAN/WAN setup, IP networking, firewall configuration, and cybersecurity compliance checks • Provide hands-on technical support for onboard IT systems, including routers, switches, servers, Wi-Fi access points, and IoT maritime equipment • Collaborate with NOC teams and remote engineering support to diagnose and resolve connectivity and system performance issues • Complete site surveys, service reports, handover documents, and technical documentation in accordance with Global Satcoms’ standards • Ensure all safety protocols and client-specific requirements are followed during onboard interventions • Maintain communication with vessel agents, ship operators, and logistics teams to coordinate travel, tools, and spare parts for interventions • Provide customer training and onboard support during handover when necessary
