Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our Professional Services team. This role is responsible for implementing, supporting, and providing design assistance for complex network and security solutions across enterprise client environments. The ideal candidate brings a strong consulting background, deep expertise in next-generation firewalls, and hands-on experience with SASE and SD-WAN architectures. This is a client-facing role requiring both technical excellence and the ability to deliver high-quality project outcomes in dynamic environments. Key Responsibilities - Implement, migrate, and support network and security solutions across customer environments - Provide design assistance and validation for network and security architectures in collaboration with internal architects and client stakeholders - Serve as a technical SME for next-generation firewall platforms including: - Palo Alto Networks - Fortinet - Cisco - Support deployment and optimization of SASE architectures, including cloud-delivered security services - Deploy and advise on SD-WAN solutions across multi-site enterprise environments - Perform network assessments and provide implementation-focused recommendations - Execute complex migrations (e.g., firewall replacements, SD-WAN transitions, data center modernization) - Develop and maintain technical documentation including implementation guides, as-built documentation, and runbooks - Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery - Provide knowledge transfer and mentorship to customers and internal teams - Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across hybrid environments (on-prem, cloud, remote users) - Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in networking and cybersecurity Qualifications - 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on network security and enterprise networking - Proven experience in a consulting or professional services role (customer-facing project delivery) - Hands-on experience with: - Palo Alto Networks (PAN-OS, Panorama) - Fortinet FortiGate / FortiManager - Cisco firewalls (ASA, Firepower, FMC) - Strong understanding of: - Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs) - VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN) - Network segmentation and zero trust architectures - Experience deploying or supporting SD-WAN solutions (Fortinet, Cisco, or Palo Alto preferred) - Exposure to or experience with SASE platforms (e.g., Prisma Access, FortiSASE, Cisco Secure Access) - Ability to create clear and professional technical documentation - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills - Excellent communication and client engagement skills Preferred Qualifications - Industry certifications such as: - Palo Alto (PCNSE/PCNSC) - Fortinet (NSE 6/7/8) - Cisco (CCNP, CCIE) - Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud networking - Familiarity with identity integrations (Azure AD, SAML, MFA) in SASE environments - Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, APIs) - Prior experience working for a VAR, MSP, or consulting organization Soft Skills & Attributes - Strong client-facing presence with the ability to lead technical discussions - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously - Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes - Self-motivated and capable of working independently or within a team - Strong documentation and presentation skills
