Security Systems Design Engineer

Vantage Data Centers

• Collaborate effectively with Physical Security Engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of physical security designs. • Manage physical security designs for new and remediation projects throughout North America. • Effectively communicate with other industry professionals in one-on-one, small, and large group settings. • Apply focused, innovative, conceptual, and detailed security solutions to meet unique design challenges. • Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) during the design phase of new and remediation projects. • Participate in the selection of security EORs (engineers of record) for the design of security systems on North America design projects.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing Access Control, Intrusion Detection and Alarm, Video Intercom, and Video Surveillance and Management Systems is required.
  • 5+ years of experience managing numerous and complex, fast-paced, large-scale, enterprise-level security system design projects with multiple, overlapping deadlines and stakeholders is required.
  • In-depth technical knowledge and experience of Access Control, Intrusion Detection and Alarm, and Video Surveillance and Management Systems is required.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines is required.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite of products is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is required.
  • Fluency in speaking and writing in any languages (besides English) commonly used throughout NA such as, but not limited to, German, Polish, Italian, Spanish, and French, is preferred but not required.

Role Description Structural Integrity Associates (SIA) is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in thermo-fluid systems to join our Energy Services Group within the Turbine Generator Services team. This role is a senior individual contributor position, providing technical leadership in advanced engineering analysis, condition assessment, reverse engineering, and lifecycle evaluation of steam and gas turbine systems and associated components. The position requires deep experience in turbomachinery thermo-fluids engineering and familiarity with major OEM steam and gas turbine platforms. The successful candidate will apply advanced analytical methods, including Digital Twin development, to support performance evaluation, failure mode assessment, remaining life estimation, and inspection planning. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, senior technical staff, and multidisciplinary teams, along with periodic travel to power generation facilities for field support and data collection.
