• Embed inside portfolio companies to understand the product, the codebase, and the gaps, then build solutions that move the business forward. • Design and develop AI-powered features, integrations, and internal tools across whatever stack the business runs on. • Work directly with product and operations teams to translate business problems into clean technical solutions. • Own the full delivery cycle: scoping, building, shipping, measuring, and iterating. • Identify where AI creates real product leverage and build toward it, not as a novelty, but as a capability. • Operate across multiple portfolio companies over time, building expertise in what actually works.

• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure backend services and APIs, and define and evolve architecture for databases, microservices, and integrations. • Own mission-critical projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering and design through production deployment and iteration. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and reliability challenges at scale. • Drive improvements to CI/CD, observability, and engineering processes across teams, promoting best practices and quality standards. • Collaborate with leadership to shape roadmap priorities and long-term technical vision. • Mentor senior engineers, share knowledge, and represent the technical direction in client discussions.

• Stay connected with the EVM ecosystem, bringing vital learnings and applicable explorations back to the team to improve EVM DevEx. • Implement and enhance the Java-based smart contract services that parse bytecode and process transactions submitted via an EVM client. • Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and public APIs using TypeScript, SQL, REST, GraphQL, and Web Sockets. • Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code to optimize for maximum speed, scalability, and system efficiency. • Apply knowledge of Solidity and the EVM transaction lifecycle to explore and unblock Web3 tool and DApp integration capabilities, ensuring developers can use familiar tools. • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and effectiveness.
