Senior Finance Manager

• Independently manage financial operations • Perform preparatory bookkeeping in DATEV • Manage Accounts Payable – record, review and pay supplier invoices • Manage Accounts Receivable – prepare 200+ customer invoices per month, post payments and follow up on overdue receivables • Prepare documentation for tax filings and ensure timely submission to the tax advisor • Collaborate closely with the tax advisor on year-end financial closing • Conduct financial analyses to identify trends and risks and provide strategic financial insights to management • Support budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with the Chief of Staff • Ensure internal controls and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements • Liaise with tax advisors and support external audits
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience with German accounting and tax regulations
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
- Proven, hands-on experience with DATEV (preparatory bookkeeping in DATEV is essential)
- Experience with Salesforce is a strong advantage
- Analytical, structured mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Independent working style with strong prioritization skills
- Controlling experience is a plus
- Interest in new technologies and commitment to continuous learning
- Proactive, collaborative and agile work style
- Fluent in German and English
