Accounting Clerk
ECI Development, Ltd.
• Regularly review and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure proper coding and classification. • Maintain a paperless filing system; ensure all digital receipts, invoices, and contracts are correctly labeled and stored in our cloud-based repository. • Process digital invoices via QuickBooks, manage vendor inquiries via email/Slack, and monitor AR aging reports for timely collections. • Reconcile monthly statements within our cloud accounting software to ensure that the general ledger reflects real-time accuracy. • Support the senior team during close by providing account reconciliations, schedules, and documentation for audits.
Job Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- 2+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience (prior remote experience is a major plus).
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and IF statements).
- A self-starter who can meet deadlines without physical supervision.
- Strong written and verbal English skills; ability to provide clear status updates asynchronously.

Role Description The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA), Division of Business and Finance (DBF) is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. The candidate will operate with little to no supervision and is responsible for the generation and accuracy of complex fiscal data posted to the financial accounting system, automated procurement system, and the human resources system. The selected candidate will: - Explain and provide counsel to the division on accounting principles as related to SAAM. - Ensure that documents are properly authorized, coded correctly, and pricing is in accordance with the PO/contracts. - Compile various revenue and expenditure reports. - Analyze, research, and resolve vendor/customer and financial budget problems and concerns. - Perform reconciliation of invoice aging's, statements, and general ledger reports. - Enter data into the accounting system.
