Payroll Coordinator
International SOS
• Process the organization’s payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. • Maintain employee resource records in both the timekeeping system and payroll system. • Gather project related data to keep costs on track, including ensuring timesheets are processed timely and accurately for payroll. • Administer processing of organization's payroll and collect payroll data to maintain accurate payroll records. • Implement, maintain, and review timekeeping and payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of timesheets for payroll transactions. • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, project changes and changes to pay rates. • Audit payroll information for accuracy. • Reconcile payroll hours and earnings, tax withholdings, wage garnishments, and voluntary deductions. • Participate in problem solving and special projects within the Payroll Department. • Maintain employees’ current resource data in all company systems. • Monitor company Payroll email box and respond accurately and timely to all inquiries. • Work with Employees, Payroll, Information Technology, and Human Resources teams closely to resolve any timesheet and/or payroll related issues. • Generate various compliance reports regularly to ensure timely submission and approval of timesheets. • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Familiarity with payroll processing systems. ADP preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
- 1 - 2 years of payroll processing experience required.
- Strong quantitative skills, data analysis and spreadsheet knowledge.
- Solid customer relations skills and ability to handle highly sensitive/confidential information.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills a must.
- Must be self-motivated, strong problem solver, and high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
