About This Role: TrueML is currently undergoing a major platform rearchitecture, moving toward a fully cloud-native, modernized infrastructure. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a key driver of this evolution. Your mission is to eliminate friction in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), empowering our engineering teams with automated workflows, scalable AWS environments, and high-visibility monitoring. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred). - 10+ years of progressive experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or technical operations. - 5+ years of people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and team development (direct management strongly preferred). - 5+ years of experience administering Windows and Linux systems. - 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, Elasticsearch, and EKS. - Strong understanding of hybrid infrastructure architectures, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and application/database integrations. - Experience with enterprise toolsets for cloud operations, networking, monitoring, security, and compliance (e.g., Rapid7, CloudRanger, Aviatrix, CrowdStrike, Ivanti, Dynatrace, Power BI, Jira, ServiceNow). - Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages. - Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset. - Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks. - Advanced Excel skills, including task tracking, infrastructure inventories, and reporting (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, structured tables, complex formulas, and data quality techniques). Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
