Key Account Manager

Ranpak

• Achieve the agreed monthly and annual total sales revenue targets for assigned Key Accounts in the EMEA region. • Acquire and grow large, multi-site target key accounts (both prospects and existing customers). • Coordinate with the regional Ranpak sales force to follow up on regional sales activities at the key account level. • Liaise with Ranpak distributors to ensure flawless service and high customer satisfaction for the key account. • Collaborate closely with colleagues (e.g., Marketing, Customer Service, Technical) to deliver the best-fit, winning proposition to the key account. • Develop, own, and execute the account plan for target key accounts. • Plan and drive the actions required to win, grow, and defend key accounts. • Build multi-level relationships with diverse stakeholders within the key account. • Deliver solution- and value-based sales of Ranpak solutions. • Manage and influence diverse Decision-Making Units (DMUs) within the account. • Build and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with key customers and prospects. • Serve as the primary point of contact for matters specific to your customers. • Proactively influence and respond to tenders and requests for quotations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Commerce or related field.
  • 5–7 years of Pan-European Key Account Management experience with a strong focus and network in segments such as 3PL, e-commerce, and manufacturing.
  • Experience in the packaging industry is a plus.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute solution- and value-based selling.
  • Demonstrated track record in multi-level selling, including successfully managing diverse Decision-Making Units.
  • Proven results in acquiring new key accounts and growing existing ones.
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all senior levels of the account organization, including executive level.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to work from home and willingness to travel.
  • Ability to lead the cross-functional team supporting the key account (e.g., Customer Service, regional sales reps, technical colleagues).

As our Tesco National Account Manager, you will be leading one of our most important accounts within the business and will oversee the performance and delivery of strategic initiatives for Tesco. This role requires a deep commercial understanding, strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with our customers, to drive mutual growth.  As our Tesco National Account Manager you will work directly with the Tesco Controller to: - Lead on your categories within Tesco to drive accelerated growth within the account, taking ownership of the P&L for your area, including: leading JBP negotiations, proposing and managing promotions and spend, forecasting and reporting accurately internally through the monthly cycle.  - Develop a strong understanding of your P&L and how to drive profitable, sustainable growth within the account, to deliver against the growth objectives for the business. - Build compelling strategies for your categories which are aligned to both AG Barr’s & Tesco’s priorities to develop a win-win growth plan for both businesses - Establish strong relationships internally with the cross-functional team (shopper, category, digital, supply chain, category etc) and externally with key Tesco stakeholders. - Build comprehensive joint business plans with Tesco, in collaboration with the Tesco Controller and other account managers, to leverage our strategic partnership and land key business objectives. - Own the process for weekly, period, and annual forecasting for Tesco, and use multiple data sources (Dunnhumby, Kantar, Circana) to analyse insights and turn into tangible action, in partnership with the Category team. What you’ll bring… - Experience in account management within an FMCG environment (Tesco/Top 4 experience preferable). - Strong understanding of P&L management, forecasting, and business development within the grocers. Proven ability to build and deliver joint business plans and negotiate effectively to drive results. - Experience in managing senior-level relationships internally and externally.
