• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements for reports and dashboards. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models. • Write optimized SQL queries (including complex joins, CTEs, and window functions) to extract, cleanse, and transform data. • Define and implement data validation, accuracy, and quality checks. • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights. • Participate in customer engagement activities, clearly communicating technical concepts, design decisions, and project progress to stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of industry experience as a hands‑on practitioner in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and proven experience with Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation.
- Proven experience building advanced dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience working with 2–3 major cloud and data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, or Databricks).
- Expertise in 3–4 key data/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, dbt).
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Position Summary Responsible for providing internal and client facing analytic and data visualization solutions. Create dashboards and other data visualizations in Power BI to help drive insights and tell the story of the analysis. Develop and document processes and techniques used to extract, clean, and analyze data. Explain your work to others with varying degrees of technical experience. Daily interaction with attorneys, clients and users, including presenting findings and summaries of analyses as well collaborating to create data-driven solutions to improve their workflows or processes. Identify opportunities to leverage internal and external data sources or processes to create value for clients or the Firm – including marketing, pricing efficiencies, talent and retention. A Day in the Life: The Sr Trust and Safety Data Analyst will join a team within Trust and Safety for North America (NA) based Hertz, Dollar, and Thrifty locations as well as global activity for hertz.com, reporting directly into the Mgr, Trust and Safety Strategy. This role will be responsible for owning the theft and fraud risk data, including the development and maintenance of data tables, queries, analytics, and reporting that drive our data-informed risk decisions. This role will act as a risk focused data partner to the Trust and Safety team and internal stakeholders, including data science, technology, recovery, corporate security, cyber, sales, product, legal, finance, field operations, and customer experience. The key to success in this role is the ability to translate business problems into data analytics that business stakeholders can easily understand and action. The preferred candidate will sit at our corporate office in Estero, however, we are open to candidates located outside of the area to work remotely. Starting salary is $75k; commensurate with experience.
