Role Description The Financial Analyst within Avetta’s Financial Planning & Analysis team will serve as a strategic partner in driving insights that influence executive decisions and operational efficiency. The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate across Finance, Billing, Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, and Leadership teams to gather valuable insights and data, streamline forecasting and planning processes to improve the accuracy and quality of the revenue forecast, and advance planning capabilities. - Advance insights on vital business metrics (e.g., gross and net retention rates, pipeline, churn). - Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic long-range planning for cash billings, revenue, and KPIs. - Build and improve upon financial models to provide clarity and support accurate forecasting. - Provide insightful variance analysis to contribute to Executive Management and Board of Directors reporting. - Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to understand and enhance system data flows, reporting processes, and analytics. - Use AI tooling to conduct financial analysis for various strategic initiatives and ad-hoc requests, such as pricing models, scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess risks and potential outcomes. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. - 3 years of experience in FP&A, Revenue Operations, Data Analysis, or Business Intelligence. - Strong Excel and financial modeling skills. - High attention to detail. - Familiarity with SQL (Snowflake experience preferred) and willingness to deepen technical expertise. - Ability to introduce AI tooling into existing workflows. - Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and planning software (Adaptive) is a plus. - Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. - Familiarity with SaaS business and revenue model a plus. - Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex financial information to diverse audiences. • Lead the implementation and launch of a subscription management system that integrates with our invoicing platform and product. • Collaborate closely with Revenue Operations and the management team to ensure a smooth implementation and the creation of strong, reliable metrics dashboards. • Manage the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for our clients. • Maintain and update customer billing information, contracts, and pricing agreements. • Reconcile invoices, payments, and accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Work with Customer Success and Sales teams to efficiently resolve billing inquiries and disputes. • Respond to customer questions related to billing, invoices, and payment issues in a timely and professional manner via our ticketing system. • Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and industry-specific billing standards. • Provide insights into billing trends, outstanding invoices, and revenue recognition.
