Lead, Product Tax

• Prepare and review a variety of tax-related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines and regulations • Oversee timely daily, monthly, quarterly and annual tax reporting • Ensure accuracy by reviewing and validating requests, filings, and reports and ensuring compliance with guidelines and internal controls • Lead tax reconciliations through collaboration with necessary teams to ensure accurate data is captured across related systems and workbooks • Collaborate with business areas to ensure data integrity • Research and interpret existing and revised tax codes, laws, or forms to make recommendations to procedures • Assist with responses to federal and state regulatory inquiries and audits • Oversee management of the key processes and projects within the department • Identify operational efficiencies automation opportunities to drive continuous process improvement, leveraging knowledge and experience to provide solutions • Partner with key stakeholders as needed to ensure quality transaction analysis, data integrity, and operating procedures • Comply with company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related area
  • 5 + years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  • Experience in the financial services/insurance industry
  • Relevant professional certification (CPA, CFA, CIA, CISA)
  • Combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
