Cloud Systems Engineer, Level 4

AIS (Applied Information Sciences)

• Drives the stability and sustainability of the cloud-based networks, software systems for scaling and reliable operations. • Performs system integration, verification and validation and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. • Creates proactive engineering mechanisms that will enable the team to manage the health of a number of distributed VMs. • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications. • Utilizes trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools and processes. • Responsible for systems functionality, performance, and configurations issues. • Considered an emerging authority, who applies extensive technical expertise. • Develops technical solutions to complex problems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8 years of relevant experience supporting enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure environments.
  • Certifications: IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications within 6 months of hire.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Experience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems.
