• Map global regulatory requirements to specific, measurable technical 'Evidence' within the DotCoAI platform • Design automated workflows that capture model metadata, training logs, and validation results as immutable compliance records • Conduct deep-dive assessments of existing models to identify non-compliance with emerging standards like the EU AI Act • Lead the technical vetting of third-party AI providers and API-based models

• Break models before potential adversaries • Lead technical stress-testing of AI systems • Design and execute adversarial attacks • Build and maintain Continuous Control stack • Partner with Data Scientists for bias remediation

• Collaborate with AI researchers to review, label, evaluate, and refine AI systems built to support healthcare professionals and enhance patient outcomes • Clinical Note & Record Review: Label and summarize clinical documentation to train and validate model understanding • Model Evaluation: Assess AI-generated medical content and recommendations for clinical accuracy, safety, and reasoning quality • Prompt Design & Testing: Develop and refine clinical prompts to improve model response quality and reliability • Error & Feedback Analysis: Identify and document patterns or limitations in model outputs to support fine-tuning and improve model performance

The School of Computer and Information Sciences is currently seeking a full-time faculty member for the Master’s in Science in Artificial (MSAI) program. This position supports the continued growth and academic excellence of the program and offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to graduate education in healthcare leadership and administration. Responsibilities: - Teach graduate-level course in the MS in Artificial Intelligence programs (online and/or residency format, as assigned). - Maintain instructional excellence aligned with course objectives, accreditation standards, and program outcomes - Engage in curriculum development, assessment, and continuous program improvement - Provide academic advising and mentorship to graduate students - Participate in faculty meetings, program initiatives, and university service activities - Collaborate with program leadership to support student success, retention, and professional preparation - Perform other duties as determined by the Dean and Program Director - Perform other responsibilities and abide by the appropriate policies and procedures contained in UC’s Faculty Handbook. Required: - Doctoral/PhD Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Applied Computing or related field required with a minimum of 2 years of online teaching experience at the University Level (Graduate Level Courses) - Minimum and preferred from an institution regionally accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. - 18 graduate semester credit hours in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and/or Data Science. Recommended: - AI courses & certification from Microsoft, Google, IBM, and other similar Academic institutions. - Documented work experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence - Candidate must be based in the US.
