Blue Yonder Title: TCO Value Specialist (Total Cost of Ownership Business Vlaue Specialist) Location: Virtual within the US Overview This role is part of the Journey to Cognitive Cloud (J2CC) team, a fast-moving, cross-functional group driving the shift of Blue Yonder customers from legacy, non-cognitive solutions to modern cognitive SaaS platforms. The team partners closely with customers to spark interest, prove value, secure buy-in, and deliver end-to-end migrations through go-live. In doing so, the J2CC team transforms legacy maintenance revenue into a scalable SaaS foundation while creating immediate technical and business impact. Scope The TCO/Business Value Specialist is a key contributor to Blue Yonder's J2CC go-to-market motion, responsible for developing compelling business cases and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses that accelerate customer migration and expansion decisions. This role bridges the gap between technical solution design and executive-level financial justification, enabling customers and internal stakeholders to clearly understand the quantifiable value of migrating to Blue Yonder's cloud platform. What you’ll do - Build rigorous, data-driven TCO models that compare on-premise, hybrid, and Blue Yonder cloud deployment scenarios across licensing, infrastructure, implementation, and operational costs - Develop customer-facing business cases that quantify ROI, payback period, and value realization tied to supply chain KPIs (inventory reduction, service level improvement, labor productivity, etc.) - Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Customer Success teams to tailor value narratives for targeted accounts - Maintain and continuously improve standardized TCO frameworks, benchmarks, and industry-specific value drivers - Engage directly with customer finance, IT, and supply chain executives to validate assumptions and co-own the business case narrative - Support executive presentations, RFP responses, and board-level justification packages - Collaborate with Sales, Services, Product and Marketing to incorporate new J2CC capabilities and cloud pricing models into value frameworks Areas of Focus - Customer-Centricity: Develops value cases that resonate with customer priorities - Technical & Business Acumen: Integrates technology and financial insights to support migration decisions - Value Creation: Builds robust models to demonstrate migration benefits - Collaboration: Works closely with Strategic Migration specialist (SMS), Cognitive Value advisor (CVA), and Finance teams - Integrity: Ensures accuracy and transparency in all analyses - Agility: Responds quickly to changing data and customer requirements - Trusted Advisory: Communicates complex concepts clearly and credibly What we are looking for - 10+ years’ experience in technology cost analysis, financial modeling, or solution consulting - At least 5 years' experience in Sales for a SaaS solution company - Strong quantitative and analytical skills - Experience supporting migration programs and commercial offers - Ability to communicate complex value metrics to customers - Bachelor’s degree or coparable work experience Comparable Title: Sr Solutions Advisor *LI-AD1 #LI-remote ------------------------------------------- The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, plus a commission component.
