Job Requirements
- MSc/PhD in Economics or equivalent industry/academic experience
- 4+ years working in an Economist / Data Scientist / Applied Scientist role building science models for production environments
- Expert in Python and SQL
- Experience in the modern marketing measurement stack (incrementality testing, MMM, MTA)
- Experience in causal inference and machine learning
- Experience coding and troubleshooting models built for deployment

What will I be doing? - Conducting field surveys and investigations. - Management and training junior field crewmembers. - Developing permitting/compliance documents. - Managing some project-related tasks. - Supporting other projects within the department. What qualifications are required for this role? - Bachelor's degree in a related field. Advanced degree strongly preferred. - Demonstrated experience with field-oriented investigations and managing field crews. - Ability to identify on sight Great Basin flora. - Excellent communication skills. - Ability to navigate physically in various environments including those with exposure to extreme temperatures and rough terrain. - Experience in the Western United States strongly preferred. - Working knowledge of relevant biological/botanical permitting processes also preferred The salary range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00 per hour.
