In this role, you will: - Utilize CloudPay to process payroll changes. - Perform pre-and-post audits of payroll inputs to ensure accuracy. - Research fluctuations of earnings/deduction codes over periods. - Handle equity reporting and review system integrations. - Research and resolve employee inquiries timely. - Drive process improvements and prepare standard operating procedures. - Partner with various third-party vendors on inbound / outbound payroll files. - Handle year-end payroll processing activities (e.g., update payroll calendar, year-end checklist, and employee communications). - Ad-hoc duties as assigned. - Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices. Qualifications - 3+ years of Mexico payroll experience. - Advanced Excel skills with ability to work with large volumes of data and draw meaningful insights. Requirements - Prior experience with Workday and CloudPay payroll systems. - Excellent organizational skills. - Ability to work remotely without close supervision and take initiatives. - Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively. - Strong communication, problem solving, organizational and reasoning skills. Benefits - The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is $481,100 — $566,000 MXN. - Our compensation program delivers above-market total compensation through a combination of base salary, performance-based bonus/variable pay, and equity (for eligible roles) in a high-growth public company. - We provide a flexible, employee-led remote model, a professional development stipend, comprehensive health and parental leave plans, and more.

The role, in a nutshell: We’re hiring a Payroll Analyst to support global payroll operations as Chainguard scales. This role focuses on payroll accuracy, compliance, and process improvement across multiple countries, with a strong emphasis on pre-payroll analytics and audit. You’ll partner closely with Accounting, Finance, and cross-functional teams to ensure payroll runs smoothly, discrepancies are caught early, and systems continue to evolve with the business.
