Licensed Practical Nurse

• You will provide skilled nursing care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse • You will assist the Registered Nurse in carrying out the plan of care, and will help with the preparation, implementation, and continuity evaluation of the client care plan • You will assist the Registered Nurse in performing specialized procedures • You will help teach the client the appropriate self-care techniques • You will observe, record and report to the appropriate person the general physical and mental condition of clients and signs of symptoms which may be indicative of changes in condition • Further assist in rehabilitation by reporting any abnormalities in the client’s range of motion, body mechanics or body alignment • Actively participate in weekly case conferences, inservices, and any staff meetings
Job Requirements
- You must hold a current LPN license that is in good standing with the state board of nursing
- You must have a minimum of one year experience as an LPN
- Home care experience will be prioritized
- You must be able to provide two references
- You must be able to pass OIG checks, Virginia State Police background check, and national background checks, and able to verify employment eligibility with necessary documentation
- A current CPR certificate is required
- Reliable transportation, proof of valid car insurance, and a valid driver’s license
