Ruby on Rails Developer

• Development and maintenance of Ruby on Rails applications, including implementing new features and optimizing existing codebases. • Management and optimization of the PostgreSQL database, including data modeling, performance monitoring and tuning, as well as data migrations. • Participation in DevOps tasks, including deployment of application releases, development and maintenance of microservices in Kubernetes, and performing database migrations. • Development and integration of interfaces to external POS and ERP systems to optimize data exchange and system communication.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
- Proven experience in development with Ruby on Rails.
- Strong experience working with PostgreSQL databases.
- Solid knowledge of Test Driven Development.
- Experience with development in the AWS environment (e.g., RDS) is a plus.
- Independent, analytical, structured and careful way of working.
- Strong service and customer orientation.
- Team player with the ability to work under pressure.
- Very good German (at least C1) and English (at least B2) skills, both written and spoken.
