Role Description As a Senior Platform Engineer you will be in charge of building self-service functionalities to enable our backend, frontend and mobile developers so they can ship products faster and will be helping improve the reliability, monitoring and scalability of our platform. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software platforms. This position demands a deep understanding of: - Backend engineering - Cloud technologies - Continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) tools - Container orchestration Qualifications - Minimum of 6 years experience designing, building and writing automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end, etc.) for complex, distributed backend systems, preferably with either Java or Go. - At least 4 years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies, with a strong preference for AWS. - Extensive experience with multiple CI tools such as AWS CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, Gradle and CircleCI. - In-depth experience with CD tools, preferably ArgoCD. - At least 4 years of experience working with Kubernetes. - Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools. - Proven English fluency. Position Purpose: Lead and mature the cloud cost optimization initiatives. Serve as a subject matter expert, partnering with engineering, finance, and procurement teams to drive advanced financial accountability, architect cloud efficiency solutions, and develop sophisticated forecasting models that align cloud economics with business outcomes.
