Position Overview As a Functional Lead at XTEL, you will bridge client business requirements with the capabilities of our SaaS revenue management platform. You will drive hands-on configuration, implementation, and functional leadership to deliver high-quality solutions for clients in the consumer goods sector, working closely with both client and internal teams to generate real business value. Key Responsibilities - Lead workshops with client teams to gather and challenge requirements, translating them into functional blueprints and configuration specifications that minimize customization. - Drive key configuration decisions, maximizing business value from the XTEL platform by clearly articulating options and aligning them with client TPM processes and data. - Design and configure end-to-end solutions using the XTEL SaaS platform, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with client needs. - Conduct gap analysis between client requirements and standard platform capabilities, recommending practical configuration or closure strategies. - Provide functional governance throughout the delivery lifecycle, identifying and mitigating business and product risks. - Act as the functional design authority with clients and partners, promoting best practices, reuse of existing patterns, and pre-packaged configurations. - Quality assure partner functional design decisions for compliance with the XTEL core product. - Serve as a communication bridge between client and product teams, providing actionable feedback for continuous improvement. - Coach and mentor functional team members, driving skill development and a culture of quality and discipline. - Drive continuous improvement of methodologies and ways of working, focusing on quality and product best practices. Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. - Proven experience designing, configuring, and implementing enterprise software solutions, ideally for a software vendor or systems integrator. - Background in FMCG commercial processes (TPM, Retail Execution, SFA, RGM) is a strong advantage. - Strong analytical skills and passion for data and process optimization. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate business needs into functional solutions. - Commercial awareness and experience supporting pre-sales processes as an SME. - Comfortable with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. - Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven, with a pragmatic and client-centric approach. - Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
