• Design, build, and maintain backend services that power core products and platforms. • Develop event-driven systems using Go and Kafka. • Build scalable microservices in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. • Drive architecture decisions that improve performance, resiliency, and maintainability. • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to deliver end-to-end solutions. • Own your code in production, monitor, debug, and continuously improve service performance and reliability. • Write automated tests and follow CI/CD best practices to ensure high-quality deployments. • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing across teams. • Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems and respond to incidents.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, frontend engineers, QA, product designers, etc.) to deliver solutions that drive your team's metrics. • Document, develop, refactor, deploy, and operate APIs, customer-facing components, and internal interfaces to serve Super Dispatch customers. • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards. • Collaborate with the QA and Support teams to investigate issues, fix bugs, and identify performance bottlenecks. • Optimize and enhance existing code and backend systems for improved performance, scalability, and reliability. • Participate in and guide the technical design process. • Ensure the security and integrity of data and systems through best practices, including encryption, authentication, and authorization. • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing among the team, providing constructive feedback to peers. • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in backend development and Java technologies.

• Architect and develop distributed systems • Provide technical structure to teams and work closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps • Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise • Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards • Design and implement foundational infrastructure components used by every engineering team in production (e.g. dynamic configuration, secrets storage, container orchestration, etc) • Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers
