Environment Artist

Torn Banner Studios

• See playable environments through from conception to completion. • Produce photorealistic asset and environments. • Work closely with the level design team and other artists to bring the concepts to life. • Plan, estimate and prioritize time frames for the completion of tasks while tracking progress. • Help identify and fix bugs, including performance and budget issues. • Implement and incorporate feedback from Director and Leads into work. • Work with the team to achieve the desired level of quality and technical accuracy. • Help define best practices for our production workflows. • Participate in brainstorming and concept development sessions, contributing fresh ideas and innovative approaches.

Job Requirements

  • An exceptional portfolio of work that exemplifies the creation of high-quality photorealistic environments.
  • 3+ years of professional game development experience as an Environment Artist.
  • Experience developing AAA titles on PC and/or console.
  • Deep knowledge of game environment development processes, from sculpting to retopo, baking, uvs, texturing, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and initiative-taking.
  • Experience Unreal Engine 5, Maya, 3Ds Max, or Blender, Z Brush, and Adobe Substance Suite.
