Principal Frontend Engineer

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and secure solutions. • Optimize the performance of the components you'll work on. • Develop and test code in short cycles with a high degree of automation. • Gather feedback from stakeholders and adapt your solutions accordingly. • Focus on creating maintainable solutions that scale effectively for thousands of users. • Ensure high availability and operational integrity for the team assets. • Troubleshoot complex incidents related to solutions developed by your team. • Implement product development best practices, continuous delivery, and testing. • Design and communicate high-level functional designs and solutions. • Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior team members. • Be available for on-call rotation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Skilled in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and Object-Oriented Design.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle and testing techniques.
- Knowledge in C# (.NET) and interest in compiler technologies is a Plus.
- Knowledge of Stencil and Ionic Framework is a Plus.

Join Wordly's fast growing global team! Description As a Frontend Engineer at Wordly, you will build and improve user experiences that help customers effectively use Wordly’s real-time translation features across our applications. This is an individual contributor role focused on hands-on implementation. You will work from product requirements, UI designs, and established technical direction to build new features, improve existing applications, and contribute reusable UI components that support a consistent frontend experience across the platform. We are looking for someone who can work independently from clear requirements and contribute effectively within a fully remote team. . Strong experience with either React or Angular frameworks is required, and exposure to the other is a plus. You should also be comfortable writing tests, integrating with backend APIs, and using AI-assisted development tools effectively and responsibly as part of day-to-day engineering work.
