Workday Benefits and Learning Techno-Functional Consultant

• Configure and support Workday Benefits and Learning modules based on business and operational requirements • Review current system setup and recommend enhancements aligned to Workday best practices • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues across benefits plans, eligibility rules, enrollment events, learning courses, campaigns, and assignments • Support configuration updates for benefit plans, life events, open enrollment, learning content structure, learner groups, and business processes • Assist with technical design, support, and troubleshooting of integrations impacting Benefits and Learning • Analyze inbound and outbound files, integration touchpoints, and data dependencies tied to vendors, carriers, and third party systems • Partner with HR, Benefits, Learning, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions • Support testing efforts including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing • Investigate production issues and resolve defects related to both configuration and integrations • Document business requirements, configuration decisions, integration mappings, test scripts, and issue resolutions • Provide post production support and identify opportunities to improve system stability, automation, and user experience.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of Workday consulting experience with hands-on exposure to both functional and technical work
- Strong experience configuring Workday Benefits and Learning
- Experience supporting, troubleshooting, or developing Workday integrations related to Benefits and Learning
- Understanding of Workday best practices across benefits administration, enrollment processes, and learning management
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions
- Experience with testing, defect resolution, and production support
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams
- Comfortable working independently in a client facing environment.
