Senior Finance Manager, part-time

• Independently manage financial operations • Perform preparatory bookkeeping in DATEV • Handle Accounts Payable — record, verify, and process supplier invoices for payment • Manage Accounts Receivable — prepare 200+ customer invoices monthly, post payments, and follow up on overdue receivables • Prepare documentation for tax filings and ensure timely submission • Coordinate closely with the tax advisor for year-end financial close • Conduct financial analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to management • Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting with the Chief of Staff • Ensure internal controls and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements • Liaise with tax advisors and support external audits
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience with German accounting and tax regulations
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
- Proven, hands-on experience with DATEV (preparatory bookkeeping in DATEV is essential)
- Experience with Salesforce is a strong plus
- Analytical, structured mindset with exceptional attention to detail
- Independent working style with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Controlling experience is an advantage
- Interest in new technologies and continuous learning
- Proactive, collaborative, and agile approach to work
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken)
