• Implement backend solutions for AEM (Cloud Service) and EDS including Sling Models, OSGi services, custom workflows, and content APIs. • Model content with Content Fragment Models; expose structured content via GraphQL; structure APIs for omnichannel consumption. • Define caching strategies using Dispatcher/CDN (Fastly/Akamai/CloudFront) for EDS and classic AEM delivery. • Establish non-functional requirements (NFRs): performance SLAs, uptime, DR, observability, and security baselines. • Implement business logic in Sling/OSGi, extend Core Components, and build backend services integrating with CRM, PIM, DAM, marketing tech, or identity providers. • Develop REST/GraphQL endpoints; manage service accounts, scopes, and secure secrets. • Integrate Adobe IMS, Adobe I/O Runtime, Adobe Target/Analytics, translation services, and personalization APIs. • Own CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps/Jenkins) for AEM Cloud Service including code quality gates, static analysis, automated tests, and deployment promotion. • Implement automated unit/integration tests (JUnit, Mockito) and contract testing for APIs. • Set up observability (logs, metrics, tracing) via Cloud Manager/Kibana/New Relic/Datadog; define alerting and SLOs. • Apply OWASP best practices; secure endpoints, headers, session management & harden OSGi configs. • Handle PII compliance, data retention, and encryption; design role-based access and workflow governance. • Mentor developers; own backlog refinement; collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and frontend squads.

• Maintain and enhance existing web applications built with React and Vue.js. • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure. • Configure and maintain security, DNS, and performance using Cloudflare and related services. • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes. • Collaborate with developers to deploy updates, patches, and new features. • Automate deployment pipelines and optimize CI/CD processes. • Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of web applications. • Document infrastructure setups, deployment procedures, and maintenance tasks. • Send daily end-of-day reports on tasks worked, pending items to be addressed, wins and help needed if any, among other updates in relation to tasks assigned. • Communicate directly with the Chief of Staff, CEO, clients, and stakeholders to manage projects and translate these into smart goals for the team. • Attend scheduled meetings to provide project and task updates. • Help support and lead the security and compliance requirements of the company and the client, such as adherence to SOC2. • Build scalable backend systems that power our website/platform. • Integrate backend services with Webflow (and potentially other no-code/low-code tools such as Lovable). • Design, implement, and maintain database solutions using Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service technologies. • Provide technical guidance and communicate backend architecture solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Support hiring requirements, such as screening developers when needed.
