Envoy Global is seeking a  DevOps Lead Engineer to play a integral role in safeguarding and optimizing Envoy Global’s technology ecosystem. They will oversees the deployment, operation, and protection of the organization’s physical infrastructure, cloud environments—primarily within Azure—and all electronic data systems. With a blend of strategic vision and hands‑on expertise, the DevOps Lead Engineer ensures that mission‑critical platforms remain secure, resilient, and consistently high‑performing. This role champions automation, reliability, and continuous improvement, driving the engineering culture forward while enabling teams to deliver software and services with confidence. By unifying development, operations, and security practices, the DevOps Lead Engineer helps power Envoy Global’s ability to scale, innovate, and serve its customers with excellence. This position is 100% remote, working from home, within the United States. As our successful DevOps Lead Engineer you will be required to: - Manage operational aspect of the CI/CD pipeline including source control, build systems, infrastructure, networking, deployments, and permissions management - Work closely with Development, Data, Project Management, and Infosec teams to ensure management, operability, and security of Envoy’s applications hosted in Azure. - Participate in architecture, requirements, and planning sessions with project owners and stakeholders. - Design and deliver DevOps projects that ensure infrastructure is 24x7 operational as well as cost effective. - Train and mentor DevOps engineers to meet Envoy Global’s growing requirements for the future. - Participate in planning sessions and daily stand-ups with multi-region DevOps staff - Proactive planning and organization to adjust to the flexible needs of Envoy Global’s business. - Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are tested and updated on an annual basis. - Serve as an escalation point to help prioritize and resolve complex or urgent issues and incidents. - Maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for services and maintenance of software and systems. - Ensure 24x7 5x9s uptime for Envoy Global applications. To apply for this position, you will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications: - This position requires expert, hands-on experience in application builds and deployments: specifically, but not limited to, .Net and SQL Server frameworks (msbuild, dotnet, ssdt, dacpac). - Strong communication (written and verbal), analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to present complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Expert level hands on experience working with these technology areas: - Source control and CI/CD tools (Git, Azure DevOps, MSBuild, Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Harness, etc.) - API Management – Design, Gateways, Security, Monitoring. - Azure platform services, including Azure SQL, Service Bus, Key Vault, Blob Storage - Kubernetes clusters (experience in Azure AKS a plus) - Windows/Linux Administration - Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and ARM. - Content Delivery Network providers (Cloudflare, Akamai) - Monitoring tool sets such as DataDog, Splunk, ELK - Self-motivated, self-directed, and customer service-focused with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.  - Champion Change and Release management   This position is 100% remote, working from home, within the United States. • Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure • Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows across services and environments • Improve reliability, availability, and performance through monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices • Partner with application and ML teams to reduce friction in build, test, and deploy workflows • Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation to reduce manual operational work • Establish and document best practices for infrastructure, security, and operational readiness • Support production systems through on-call rotation and continuous improvement • Ensure compliance with security standards and proactively manage risk

• Lead a small, thriving team of DevOps Engineers • Foster direct communication with several other closely-related teams such as IT, Server Engineers, Client Security, User Support, and Community Team • Design, plan and implementation of IT infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment to support the evolution of our platform • Hands-on day to day operation and maintenance of our infrastructure to keep our services running with high reliability, security and cost effectiveness • Incident management and root cause analysis, sometimes during off hours • Ensure the implementation and maintenance of robust security controls and practices • Automate and improve our monitoring systems and tools • Coordination and communication within the team and with internal stakeholders • Work with external vendors to resolve issues and coordinate projects

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning • Provide leadership-level coverage during US evenings and weekends to ensure rapid response to critical incidents and maintain platform stability • Drive strategic planning and coordination of DevOps initiatives during US business hours, working closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders • Oversee architecture and implementation of scalable AWS and hybrid cloud infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt and related Infrastructure as Code tools • Guide the design, building, and optimization of highly available containerized environments leveraging EKS, Kubernetes, and Docker • Lead the automation strategy for CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and similar), ensuring fast, secure, and reliable software delivery across environments • Champion security by design, implementing guardrails, identity/access controls, and compliance-driven automation across infrastructure layers • Collaborate with global teams in Poland to optimize handoffs, knowledge sharing, and round-the-clock operational coverage • Manage incident response processes, conduct post-mortems, and implement preventive measures to reduce future incidents • Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability practices using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, or similar • Develop and track key performance metrics for infrastructure reliability, deployment velocity, and team productivity • Drive continuous improvement in deployment processes, system resilience, and cost optimization across multiple environments • Lead recruitment efforts to build and scale the DevOps team as business needs evolve
